We continue moving closer to the 2025 NFL season.

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs return to work at their practice facility on the grounds of the Truman Sports Complex, beginning their final week in Phase 3 of their offseason program.

This will be the seventh of 10 days of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs). No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed.

In the three days of practice beginning on Tuesday, the first two sessions — along with Friday’s final Phase 3 practice — will be closed. But on Thursday, reporters will be allowed to observe — and then have the opportunity to speak with head coach Andy Reid (and others). Just like last Wednesday, our Pete Sweeney will be among them — and will provide a rundown of everything he sees during that day’s practice.

Next up: Kansas City’s three-day mandatory minicamp. That will take place over three days beginning next Tuesday, June 17. We’ll have reports from all three of those sessions.
