All good things will eventually come to an end, and the Kansas City Chiefs might be on that road.
When it comes to Dave Portnoy, that time is now.
This offseason, unlike many previous years, there have been more discussions about Travis Kelce and his podcast than about his actual play or anything going on with the team.
The Barstool CEO seems to think that the team is “cooked,” while quoting Marvin Hagar.
Portnoy added, “Chiefs had a cute run, but it’s laughable to compare them to the Patriots’ Mega Dynasty.”
All joking aside this media blitz from Travis Kelce confirms the Chiefs are cooked.
As Marvin Hagar once said “It's tough to get out of bed to do roadwork at 5am when you're sleeping in silk pajamas”

The New England Patriots dynasty, led by coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady, is generally considered to have lasted from 2001 to 2019. The era ended when Brady left the Patriots as a free agent for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020, and then he went on to win the Super Bowl.
Belichick’s tenure with the Patriots concluded at the end of the 2023 season.
Many consider the Kansas City Chiefs’ dynasty to have begun with their Super Bowl LIV victory. Despite losing badly this past February, many still expect this team to fight for another shot at the Super Bowl.
Nothing stays great forever. We’ve seen it with the Patriots’ 20-year run, and eventually, it will happen to Kansas City.
According to various sportsbooks and betting analysts, the Kansas City Chiefs are considered a top contender for the upcoming NFL season, particularly in the AFC.
The Chiefs were just a game away from the Super Bowl three-peat last season, but the dream is not dead yet.
As long as you have Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback, you have a chance of running the table.
