The Associated Press has revealed its NFL All-Pro Teams, and three Chicago Bears received the honor. Left guard Joe Thuney and safety Kevin Byard III have been named First-Team All-Pro, and right tackle Darnell Wright has been selected as All-Pro for the Second-Team.
This is Thuney’s third consecutive First-Team All-Pro, with the previous two as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. He was also a Second-Team All-Pro with the New England Patriots in 2019 and 2022. This season also marked his fourth straight Pro Bowl selection, as he played every offensive snap for the Bears and helped them win the NFC North title, his ninth division title in his 10-year career.
Thuney is Chicago’s 1st First-Team All-Pro guard since Stan Jones in 1959.
Byard had two previous First-Team All-Pro honors while with the Tennessee Titans, in 2017 and 2021. In 2025, he led the NFL with seven interceptions and made the Pro Bowl for the third time in his career. He tied for second on the team wth 93 tackles.
Byard is the Bears’ 1st First-Team All-Pro safety since Eddie Jackson in 2018.
This is Wright’s first inclusion on an AP All-Pro Team in just his third year as a pro. He, along with Thuney, was a big part of Chicago’s offensive turnaround,
Wright is their 1st Second-Team All-Pro tackle since James “Big Cat” Williams in 2001.
Per the Bears’ site, this is the first time the Bears have had multiple offensive linemen named All-Pro since the 1986 season, when left tackle Jimbo Covert and center Jay Hilgenberg were honored.
