Last week’s fan confidence survey results reached a season high after the Chicago Bears fought back and held on to beat the Las Vegas Raiders, 25-24, which gave them two wins in a row heading into the bye.

No drama regarding the Bears popped up over the weekend, as the players and coaches spent their bye staying low-key for the most part. The only pertinent news thus far is that the team has opened the 21-day practice window for Austin Booker and Travis Homer, and nickelback Kyler Gordon has insisted he’ll make his season debut on Monday night against the Washington Commanders. There were a few injury reports shared by the beat today, but no official practice report will be issued until Thursday.

The Athletic’s Dan Weiderer reported that there’s “uncertainty” around right tackle Darnell Wright (elbow) and kicker Cairo Santos (quad), while rookie tight end Colston Loveland (hip) and linebaker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) are “trending up.”
