Daily Norseman Daily Norseman

Well, we’re heading to the fourth quarter at U.S. Bank Stadium, and your Minnesota Vikings trail the Chicago Bears by a score of 16-3.

The Bears got the football first coming out of the locker room, and they added to their lead courtesy of a 54-yard field goal from Cairo Santos to make it 13-3 about five minutes into the second half. Minnesota then had to punt the ball away on their first possession of the half as the offense just couldn’t seem to get anything going.

Chicago once again marched down the field, thanks in large part to Caleb Williams avoiding the Minnesota pass rush, and once again got into position for Santos, who connected from 33 yards out to make it 16-3 with just over two minutes left in the third quarter. The Minnesota offense, once again, went three-and-out, and punted the ball back to Chicago.

As we head to the fourth quarter, the Bears are looking at a 1st-and-10 from their own 32-yard line.

It’s going to take a drastic turnaround for the Vikings to win this one, as they trail this one by a score of 16-3 heading into the fourth quarter of play. Come on in and join us for the. . .yawn. . .thrilling conclusion of this one.
