Once again, the Chicago Bears’ radio flagship will be ESPN 1000 (AM 1000, 100.3 FM HD2), and they’ll broadcast all of Chicago’s preseason and regular-season games for the 2025 season.
Jeff Joniak will be on play-by-play for the 25th consecutive year, while analyst Tom Thayer begins his 28th year as a member of the Bears radio team. Jason McKie will be the sideline reporter for the third year in a row. Thayer was a member of Chicago’s Super Bowl championship team in 1985, and McKie was on the Bears’ 2006 NFC Championship squad.
Chicago’s Spanish-language feed can be heard locally on Latino Mix 93.5 FM with play-by-play from Omar Ramos.
You can also hear the radio call on ChicagoBears.com and the Chicago Bears Official App — Chicago area only on mobile devices. An NFL+ membership will also get you the radio broadcasts for every team.
Previously, a few stations outside the Midwest markets also carried Bears games, so double-check your local radio listings just in case.
SiriusXM subscribers should check their weekly channel listings for the Bears.
Also, for even more Bears audio content, our 2nd City Gridiron Podcast Channel is available everywhere, including Apple, Spotify, iHeart, Audacy, and all other popular podcast platforms, so hit subscribe so you never miss a thing. Our YouTube home is also called 2nd City Gridiron, so subscribe there for our pods and other video content.
Once again this season, Taylor Doll will handle our weekly game preview on her Making Monsters podcast, and she’ll be joined by a dialed-in media member who covers the Bears’ opponent each week.
Our immediate postgame show this year will feature Jacob Infante as the lead voice, so tune in for his unique take on the Bears and possibly some oozing machismo from the Jakester!
