Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell is getting cooked for complaining about fast food employees simply doing their job. Bell had taken to Twitter to complain about a Chipotle worker charging him for double meat.

Since retiring from the NFL in 2021, Le’Veon Bell has become an increasingly controversial figure. Earlier this year — following a few years of dabbling in amateur boxing and right-wing politics — Bell was liable by a court for $25 million in compensatory and punitive damages related to a sexual abuse case brought by a female relative for events which she alleges took place when she was a minor.

Despite making about $45 million over the course of his NFL career, Bell is still apparently cheap enough to complain when a Chipotle line cook tells the cashier that his meal has double meat in it.

why as a Chipotle worker are you telling the lady at the register I got double chicken ..

“Because the employee doesn’t want to lose their job for poor performance like you,” one person replied to Bell.

“Why as a rich person are you complaining about having to pay for extra food that you requested?” another said.

“Because you asked for it, dips—. What you think the process is supposed to be for them to charge you for extra shit? Telepathy?” a third cracked.

“Double chicken is an up charge. If not its stealing. Bro you make enough to pay for triple chicken stop whining,” added a fourth.

Bell, now 33 years old, was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Michigan State University with the 48th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

A three-time Pro Bowler with the team, Bell would the go on to close out his career with the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Bucs.

Over the course of his nine seasons in the NFL, Bell had 1,595 carries for 6,554 yards and 42 touchdows, in addition to 399 catches for 3,289 yards and nine receiving touchdowns.
