The Philadelphia Eagles made a huge statement on Sunday night.

Nick Sirianni’s team was in charge from start to finish, and they had one of the most dominant wins in the big game’s history.

Notably, Charles Barkley saw that coming.

On Sunday’s edition of “Inside the NBA,” the Hall of Famer claimed that the Eagles would absolutely blow the Kansas City Chiefs out (via NBA on TNT).

And even though he didn’t nail the actual score of the game, he did call who was going to win and how things would go down.

Of course, some people took Barkley’s prediction with a grain of salt.

As a former Philadelphia 76er, he was likely biased.

More than that, he has a long track record of hilariously failed predictions, constantly missing the mark by a long shot.

Then again, not even the most optimistic Eagles fan may have seen that coming.

The game was expected to be a toss-up, hence the Chiefs being a one-point favorite.

However, the final score didn’t resemble just how lopsided the game was.

The Eagles shut Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense down for almost three full quarters, and the bulk of the Chiefs’ offensive production came with the game well out of reach.

Nick Sirianni even sent his human victory cigar to the field when he pulled Jalen Hurts to get Kenny Pickett some reps.

This will go down as one of the greatest performances in football history, and Barkley absolutely called it.
