As they do every time a team plays on Thursday Night Football, the Chargers posted an injury report that’s described “estimated,” or rather an injury report made up of names of what they would have expected if they actually went through a real practice. In all, nine players were on the estimated report.
Defensive tackle Otito Ogbonnia (elbow) and running back Hassan Haskins (hamstring) were the only two DNPs on the day. Offensive tackle Joe Alt (ankle) was limited once again and could very well return this week. Other limited participants for the Chargers include left tackle Austin Deculus (ankle), linebacker Troy Dye (thumb), safety Elijah Molden (thumb), and offensive tackle Trey Pipkins (knee).
Finally, the final two players who were still full participants were offensive guard Jamaree Salyer (knee) and edge rusher Kyle Kennard (knee).
If Trey Pipkins returns this week as well, the Chargers could very well have their healthiest offensive line since Week Three’s win over the Broncos. Sounds pretty great, right?
