The NFL announced this summer’s joint practices and the Chargers will host just one with the crosstown Rams.
On Wednesday afternoon, the NFL announced all 24 joint practices that will take place between NFL teams during the month of August. For the Chargers, they will host just one joint practice in El Segundo at The Bolt when they welcome the Rams on August 13.
The first joint practices of the offseason will take place on August 5 wen the Ravens host the Colts and the Cowboys host the Rams, which also happens to take place on the West Coast in Oxnard, California.
The Chargers are hosting the Rams the week prior to their August 16 matchup in Week 2 of the preseason. That will actually be the Chargers’ third exhibition this offseason since they will face the Lions in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game to kickoff the preseason on July 31.
Los Angeles will also face the Saints and 49ers this preseason with the former coming on August 10 and the latter taking place on August 23.
