Bolts From The Blue
The Los Angeles Chargers are back in the win column with a 37-10 victory against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8’s edition of Thursday Night Football.
In the win, quarterback Justin Herbert threw for three touchdowns — one each to tight end Oronde Gadsden II, wide receiver Ladd McConkey and rookie wideout Tre’ Harris. Kimani Vidal also ran for 117 yards and a touchdown of his own.
While the Chargers got a big win, they lost a few players due to injury, continuing a theme that has been all too familiar for the team this season. Defensive back Derwin James, safety Tony Jefferson, offensive lineman Mekhi Becton and cornerback Tarheeb Still each left the game with an injury, putting the Chargers even further behind the 8-ball.
The Chargers will luckily have a little more time to heal ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the struggling Tennessee Titans on Nov. 2.
