On Tuesday afternoon, the Chargers announced a handful of roster transactions, including the addition of a new offensive lineman to the team.
Firstly, the Bolts are adding former Browns offensive lineman Michael Dunn and former Seahawks cornerback Isas Waxter to the practice squad. Dunn is a former undrafted free agent of the Los Angeles Rams back in 2017. He has had stints with five NFL teams in his career, including stops in the AAF and the XFL. He has nine career starts, all coming with the Browns from 2020-2024.
Waxter is a rookie corner out of Villanove University. Heโs a 6โ1, 209-pounder who was named a First-Team All-Coastal Athletic Association as a senior and a Honorable Mention FCS All-American.
As for the corresponding moves, the team is releasing edge rusher Rashad Weaver and cornerback Myles Purchase from the practice squad.
Weaver was added as depth following the Khalil Mack injury while Purchase signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State earlier this year.
