After leading the Chargers to a 27-21 victory over the Chiefs in Brazil this past Friday night, quarterback Justin Herbert has been nominated as one of six players for Week One’s FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week!

In the season opener, Herbert completed 25-of-34 passes (73.5 percent) for 318 yards and three touchdowns to go with 32 rushing yards and the game-sealing 19-yard run. Herbert connected with wideout Quentin Johnston twice in the end zone (the first and last scores of the game) and also showed that lasting chemistry by being on the same page with Keenan Allen on another off-script score.

The other five players nominated for the honor are quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers (Steelers) and Josh Allen (Bills), Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, and running backs Travis Etienne (Jaguars) and Derrick Henry (Ravens).

If you’re feeling up to it, you can actually vote as many times as you want. So, if you have time to kill, go to this link and have at it! Let’s push Herbert to another victory in Week One!
