Following last Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers, confidence in the Chargers finishing out the season on a high note may be dwindling. The 40-17 loss was the greatest differential of the season and, coupled with lingering injuries to key players like quarterback Justin Herbert and cornerback Cam Hart, the strength of the team seems to be built on grit alone. The glimmer of hope remains to be in head coach Jim Harbaugh, who has so far improved the team from last year’s record of 5-12.
