Bolts From The Blue
It’s do or die time.
The Chargers and the Patriots are set to kickoff in chilly Foxborough tonight in a wildcard matchup between two very similar quarterbacks. Both Justin Herbert and Drake Maye have been spectacular this season with each exceeding expectations given their circumstances.
Herbert has single-handedly willed his team into the postseason despite missing both of his elite offensive tackles and Maye has been the pivotal presence in the Patriots’ hasty turnaround under first-year coach Mike Vrabel. Both have been their team’s unquestioned MVPs this year and now they’ll each get a chance to add a huge new accomplishment to their resumes.
Enough talk. It’s time for some Chargers playoff football.
