It’s never easy to win on the road, especially on the east coast in the early window on Sunday, but the Chargers are going into the game as a favorite against the Giants. FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Chargers as a 6.5-point favorite over the Giants.
The Chargers are undefeated after beating the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos in the AFC West gauntlet, but now they take their schedule outside the division to face the Giants.
The Giants have suffered a topsy-turvy start to the season, taking losses to the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and Chiefs on the latest Sunday Night Football game.
With the Chargers coming into the game undefeated and the Giants entering the matchup winless, it’s no surprise to see Los Angeles as a touchdown favorite, but the team has to find a way to win on the road.
If the Chargers are going to win, quarterback Justin Herbert will need to produce like he has been over the first three weeks of the season. The team will be without running back Najee Harris, who suffered an Achilles tear in the team’s latest win against the Broncos, so rookie Omarion Hampton will have the opportunity to earn an increased role in the offense.
