The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off a big win against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16, getting one step closer to a playoff berth.
The Chargers can officially clinch a playoff spot if the San Francisco 49ers beat the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football, but they will also do so if they beat the Houston Texans at home in Week 17.
The Chargers and Texans both occupy Wild Card spots in the AFC, but FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Chargers as a 1.5-point favorite against C.J. Stroud’s squad, who beat Los Angeles in the first round of the playoffs a year ago.
The Chargers are 11-4, which is one game back the Denver Broncos in the AFC West. A win would give the Chargers a chance to clinch the division by beating the Broncos on the road in Week 18.
The Texans will be coming into the game with a lot on the line because a win for them would clinch a spot in the playoffs if the Colts lose to the Niners on Monday Night Football.
This will be a big game for both teams and it should give a taste of what playoff football will look like. The Chargers want revenge from last year’s loss, but the Texans won’t give it to them easy.
