Bolts From The Blue
The Chargers are 10-4 with three games remaining on the schedule. This week they travel to Dallas to face the 6-7-1 Cowboys who are coming off a loss at home to the Minnesota Vikings. Dak Prescott has been solid for the Cowboys and their top-ranked passing offense is what continues to spur the offense forward, but when you also give up the most passing yards in the league, every game becomes a track meet to the finish.
Los Angeles’ offense continued to fall back in league rankings after another underwhelming performance against the Chiefs. They now rank outside the top 10 teams in every major category with their ground game being their highest at 11th (123.4 per game).
Despite their record, the Chargers cannot take the Cowboy lightly. Any misstep on defense could result in big plays. If too many of those are allowed, it’s not guaranteed the LA offense will be able to keep up. Can the defense be elite for another consecutive week?
