Bolts From The Blue
The Chargers are set to play their one and only game this season wearing their new all gold “Charger Power” uniforms. They’re likely the most polarizing uniform as fans seemingly love them or absolutely do not like the addition to the team’s closet.
Here’s the thing: The Chargers were winless in their old navy combination they unveiled back in 2020. I actually liked those uniforms, but the complete inability to win while wearing them essentially forced the team to take them out of the rotation. That could very well happen to this golden kit, but a win today against a 5-1 Colts team would go a long way in making sure the vibes are off to a tremendous start.
Luckily the defense has both Khalil Mack and Denzel Perryman returning from IR. That should go a long way in reinforcing the run defense, especially on the edge where the Bolts have been gashed in recent weeks. Will it be enough to stop the top offense in the NFL?
