Ladd McConkey was limited on Wednesday while Justin Herbert did not participate with a slew of left leg injuries.
The Chargers haver dropped their initial injury report of Week 15 and you may want to avert your eyes.
Justin Herbert did not practice on Wednesday with what the quarterback called an ankle sprain he sustained in the first half of Sunday night’s game. He’s also dealing with a left thigh contusion and swelling in his left knee.
So essentially, Herbert’s left leg is really going through it.
Other players who were absent on Wednesday were tight end Will Dissly (shoulder), edge rushers Khalil Mack (rest day) and Joey Bosa (hip), and wide receiver Jalen Reagor (finger). Dissly is expected to “miss some time” per Harbaugh.
Return man Derius Davis (hamstring), safety Tony Jefferson (hamstring), linebacker Denzel Perryman (groin), and wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee/shoulder) were all limited to begin the week of prep for the Buccaneers.
The Chargers are likely hoping McConkey progresses well enough to go this week against one of the league’s worst pass defenses.
