Justin Herbert returned to practice after missing Wednesday with an ankle sprain.

If Wednesday’s injury report for the Chargers caused you to look away, Thursday’s injury report will have you doing the opposite.

After sitting out of practice due to a slew of left leg injuries, quarterback Justin Herbert returned to the field today in a limited fashion. Fortunately, Herbert wasn’t the only starter to come back to practice after missing Wednesday.

Both edge rushers Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack were both present with the former missing Wednesday with a hip injury while the latter was enjoying his weekly veteran’s rest day.

A new named that popped up on the report Thursday was offensive guard Trey Pipkins who was listed as a DNP due to a personal matter.

Tight end Will Dissly and wide receiver Jalen Reagor were the only two players to miss a consecutive day of practice.

Safety Tony Jefferson, linebacker Denzel Perryman, and wide receivers Ladd McConkey and Derius Davis were all limited for the second consecutive practice, as well.

On the side of the Buccaneers, wide receiver Mike Evans was absent from practice the second time this week. His availability for the Bucs offense will be something to monitor through Friday.
