The Chargers will be without two key contributors in the secondary in Elijah Molden and Cam Hart.
The Chargers are welcoming back veteran linebacker Denzel Perryman to the lineup this week after missing multiple games but on the other side, they’ll be without two secondary members in Elijah Molden and Cam Hart.
Molden left Sunday’s game against the Bucs with a knee injury and Hart was ruled out quick after suffering another concussion.
Tight end Hayden Hurst was also activated off of injured reserve so he’ll join Stone Smartt in leading that position tonight.
Joining Molden and Hart on the inactives list are linebacker Shaquille Quarterman, offensive linemen Brenden Jaimes and Jordan McFadden, quarterback Easton Stick (emergency third quarterback), and tight end Will Dissly.
With Hart out tonight, Deane Leonard will step into the CB3 role. The team also elevated cornerback DiCaprio Bootle to provide depth. Safety Kendall Williamson was also elevated to fill in the recent hole at safety. Veteran Tony Jefferson and Marcus Maye are both available next to Derwin James on the back end.
