Bolts From The Blue
The Los Angeles Chargers are heading home happy after a 27-20 win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9 at Nissan Stadium.
It wasn’t the prettiest win against one of the league’s worst teams, but the Chargers will take any victory they can get at this point in the season with a playoff chase on the way.
While the Chargers lost Joe Alt to an ankle injury, the offense performed well after a poor interception to Titans linebacker Cody Barton.
The defense was stellar, keeping the Titans out of the end zone all afternoon long. Their only scores came from Barton’s pick-six, a Chimere Dike punt return and two Joey Slye field goals.
The Chargers will regroup as they get ready for a big game in Week 10 against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9 at 5:20 p.m. ET.
