Bolts From The Blue
The Los Angeles Chargers are going nuts after a 22-19 victory against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14’s edition of Monday Night Football.
On the final play of the game, the Eagles were driving down the field and had a chance to get close to the end zone, but Jalen Hurts threw an interception to Chargers defensive back Tony Jefferson.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert struggled to throw the ball with a broken left hand, but he was able to complete 12 of 26 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. He also led the team in rushing with 66 yards, finding a way to win when the odds were stacked against him.
The Chargers are now 9-4 and one step closer to a playoff berth for the second straight season.
The Chargers are back in action in Week 15 when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 10:00 am PT.
