The Chargers will wear the new navy throwbacks twice during the 2025 season, against the Vikings and Raiders.
After unveiling their new threads earlier Tuesday, the Chargers also went ahead and announced which games in which they will wear them.
On October 19 against the Indianapolis Colts, the Chargers will wear their new gold jerseys. This will be the one and only game they will do so.
As for the navy throwbacks, they will get two chances to be worn this season. The first time will be on October 23 when the Bolts face the Vikings at SoFi Stadium. The second time will be when they host the Raiders on November 30.
Normally it’s exciting to see these new uniforms get broken in against their divisional rivals, but the Chargers scheduled just one of the three contests against the AFC West. That’s just fine, as long as they’re able to avoid another losing streak with the navys. In all honesty, I think that’s something that will be on the minds of the fan base until they finally win a game in the color. Here’s to hoping they can go 1-0 and move past the bad vibes!
