The first-ever twelve-team College Football Playoff kicks off this evening with a first-round game between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Indiana ended their season with an 11 and 1 record and ranked 8th in the nation. Indiana’s last regular season game saw them destroy the Purdue Boilermakers 66 to 0. The Irish also made it to the playoff off a solid season with their 11 and 1 record. The Irish ended their season with a solid win over USC 49 to 35.
