Boston is buzzing with excitement over Drake Maye as the Patriots make their Super Bowl run, and that energy spilled over to the Boston Celtics on Monday night.
During the first quarter of the game against the Trail Blazers, the arena captured a moment featuring Celtics owner Bill Chisholm sporting a “I heart Drake Maye” hoodie.
The hoodie is going viral across New England, with fans wearing it everywhere. However, Chisholm’s hoodie had a twist. The original sweatshirt featured a red heart, while Chisholm wore a green clover to represent the Celtics.
It’s incredible to see every professional sports team in Boston rallying behind the Patriots, and hopefully, they can pull it off in the Super Bowl.
New England won’t be playing this Sunday since it has a bye week. However, they will retake the field on Feb. 8 during Super Bowl LX, when the Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks.
The Patriots are a 4.5-point underdog as of Monday, but the public’s lack of support for New England hasn’t prevented it from playing some of its best football lately.
