FOCO’s all-in about honoring the Bills’ great draft past

I’m back again with more FOCO stuff. This time we’re banking on the premise of “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.” What does that mean?

It’s a haphazard way of me saying that perhaps FOCO is channeling some 40-year old magic with their retro draft day collection! The 1985 Draft was one to remember for fans of the Buffalo Bills and we’re hoping 2025 goes similarly!

BRUUUUUUUCE!

It’s not every day that a bobblehead promises baaaad things, man! RIP Dennis Hopper, I don’t have any jokes on that. Let’s take a look at the draft day Bruce Smith Bobble!

As usual, this is handcrafted, hand painted, and limited edition (125 units). Make sure to check out the preorder info and all the FOCO description on the site. I’m here to bring you something different. FOCO’s attention to detail in capturing this historic moment.

The font, the stripes, draft day outfit and more all strive to capture the magic of one of the most pivotal days in Buffalo Bills history. The number one pick of the 1985 draft can be number one on your collectable shelf, case, room... or even house!

Sure hands

In 1985 the Buffalo Bills didn’t settle on just one Hall of Fame player. In addition to Bruce Smith, the Bills selected backup quarterback Frank Reich and Darby the Dinosaur illustrator Mike Hamby. They don’t have bobbleheads (yet?) but I was talking Hall of Fame anyway, so I’m confident you picked up on the fact I meant Andre Reed. Also: The picture likely gave it away.

My main point is that 1985 was a fantastic year for a Bills team looking to turn into a contender. Forty years later and the Bills are already contenders. An impact player or two should help them cross the finish line.

Something comfy for future draft days

Draft day isn’t just for bobbles. This shirt designed for the 2025 draft cuts right to the chase for what Buffalo is known for outside of football and wings. The mountain of snow framed as is suggests “This is our house, and it’s a house of cold.” What else would you expect from a location that for most of the year makes North of the Wall look like a tropical resort?

The Iron Throne may have been forged with a thousand swords, but it can’t compete against the Frozen Throne wrought from a thousand shovels! Guess who’s finally getting around to watching Game of Thrones? You were right “entire world,” it’s a good show.
