Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was inadvertently trucked by a referee on the sidelines in a moment that you’ll see on blooper reels for years to come.

CeeDee Lamb, like many of the Cowboys’ key players, was rested for the club’s preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday evening. And yet, the All-Pro receiver found a way to involve himself in the game.

Watching from the sidelines, Lamb reacted to teammate Joe Milton III’s pass to Jonathan Mingo. Lamb got too close to the playing field, however, and took quite the bodycheck from an official on the play.

To make matters worse, Lamb was issued a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for getting in the official’s way.

That’s one way to involve yourself in the game when you’re not actually playing!

Last season, Lamb caught 101 passes for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games. He has exceeded the 1,000-yard mark in four consecutive seasons.
