Back in 2017, Carson Wentz was considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

That’s how quickly things can change in this line of business.

Unfortunately, his time at the top was short-lived.

Wentz will forever be remembered for his epic season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He then suffered a season-ending injury, and it was Nick Foles’ turn to lead the way.

Foles capped off the season with a surprising trip to the Super Bowl, and he even outplayed Tom Brady to win the whole thing.

Of course, Wentz got his Super Bowl ring and plenty of credit for his spectacular play during the regular season.

Nevertheless, it seems like he’s not satisfied with just that.

As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, the Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback recently admitted that he would definitely want to turn back time and replace Foles to be the one to win the Super Bowl.

No Way: Carson Wentz says that he would like to go back in time and trade places with Nick Foles and win the 2018 Super Bowl.

Truth be told, there’s nothing wrong with that candid approach.

Wentz is a competitor, and competitors don’t like to feel like they didn’t do their job when their teams win.

Needless to say, the Eagles would’ve never been in a position to win the Super Bowl if it wasn’t for Wentz’s play in the regular season.

Wentz’s career will be a subject of debate for years.

It seemed like he would’ve been a superstar, but his injury and apparent reluctance to be coached derailed everything.

Even so, no one can take away that championship ring from him.
