Carolina Panthers Players You Would Steal for the Miami Dolphins Roster
The Phinsider The Phinsider

With our Miami Dolphins looking for their second win of the season tomorrow in their game against the Carolina Panthers, this past week, I asked the question:

Which Carolina Panthers player(s) would you steal to be placed on the current Miami Dolphins roster and why?

Below are some of your thougths and answers-

JKBMia is dead on. If these two guys are leading the league, the DL is not living up to its preseason billing even a little bit.

Jordyn Brooks is #1 in the NFL in tackling. T Dodson #2 in the NFL in tackling. Sure sounds like Derrick Brown would be helpful, so our defensive line could stop someone once this season.

finfanfromsiam is down with a full swap out.

The OL with NO injury history whatsoever!!

cyberflea decided to use logic and reason in his answer. We are Dolphins fans. He should know by now that this will not be tolerated.

I look at this as if it was the draft. Take the best player available and that would be DT Derrick Brown. He is one of the best run-defending interior linemen in the NFL, and a top five player at his position. Brown broke the NFL record for most tackles in a season by a defensive lineman with 103 and is a tackling machine that shuts down opposing running games. Although he did only play in one game in 2024 due to injury which would fit right in the Dolphins culture.

SlayerNation1 wants to swap owners, or maybe for ours to stop being so patient with everyone all the time, no matter what.

I go back and forth on the Owner, Tepper. I like how He is slightly impatient on HCs and is always looking to improve.

Impatience may turn to impetuousness when it comes to players, moving off of some of their best.

Young over Stroud still looks like a Tua/Herbert type of mistake.

Nevertheless, I would take an Owner who shows any emotion or competitiveness. If CAR ever achieves pervasive mediocrity, we’ll see if Tepper is satisfied with that. We already know Ross has cornered the market on mediocrity acceptance.

TheRoo1 believes that it’s time to sign some new guys, with the primary qualification being their ability to walk. At some point, what do you have to lose?

Any O lineman or corner NOT on crutches. Or, you could take Griers approach, and take the ones scheduled to turn in the crutches next week.

phinette23 would take the CB over the DT. We are close to the point where whichever position you randomly pick, it’s more than likely going to be a need.

Brown is an excellent player, but our CB room is so gutted I would go with Jaycee Horn.

Reid_305 chose to fill a hole on each side of the ball.

Jaycee Horn and their rookie WR Tetaroia McMillan

heatforlife is so down on things that he’s ready...
