Revenge of the Birds
The Arizona Cardinals are playing really well on offense and playing like they are working in a lot of new defensive players, because if you had asked me before the game, I would have expected to see the defense leading the way.
Instead, behind a strong first half from Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals passing game, the Cardinals lead the New Orleans Saints 17-10 at the half.
The Saints will get the ball to start the second half.
Murray is doing some… different things.
Let’s not talk about it though. I don’t want to spook it.
Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride are the offense, along with Murray, and the passing attack looks potent.
Maybe the Saints thought was make Murray and the passing game beat us in game one. Because they are selling out to contain James Conner and the Cardinals rushing attack.
If the Cardinals defense can figure out some things (talk about it after but it looks like a lot of misalignments and missed assignments in the first half) then maybe they’ll cook to finish off the game.
