The New England Patriots spent the weekend preparing for their Monday Night Football clash with the New York Giants, but that wasn’t all Stefon Diggs was doing. On Saturday, Diggs celebrated his 32nd birthday and received a unique birthday present from his girlfriend, Cardi B, that went viral on social media.
While Diggs’ play on the field for the Patriots has turned heads, off the field, his relationship with the popular hip-hop musician has caught attention as well. Cardi B attended the team’s win over the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 2, and just two days later, she gave birth to her and Diggs’ first child together on Nov. 4.
It’s safe to say that November was a busy month for the couple, and Diggs’ birthday on Nov. 29 capped things off. As part of their celebration, Cardi B shared a photo of a Patriots-themed birthday cake she got for New England’s star pass catcher.
There was some skepticism when it came to the Patriots’ decision to sign Diggs to a three-year, $63.5 million contract in free agency over the offseason. Not only has he had his fair share of off-field issues in the past, but he was also recovering from a torn ACL he suffered early in the 2024 campaign.
Diggs, however, has been everything New England was hoping for and more since signing with the team. He’s suited up for all 12 games so far this season, catching 61 passes for 679 yards and three touchdowns, while also emerging as a leader in the team’s wide receiver room.
Even as he gets older, Diggs’ production has remained steady for the Patriots. He will look to continue adding to his bounce-back campaign on Monday night, as the Pats will be aiming to earn their 10th straight win when they take on the Giants.
