Projected Role: Practice squad candidate
His 2025: After two years at Memphis, Hill transferred to Colorado, starting 10 games at guard and allowing 3 sacks. He went undrafted and was signed by the Jets as a free agent.
2026 will be a success if: Hill can do enough in training camp and the exhibition games to convince the coaching staff he’s worthy of a practice squad slot. There isn’t a clear path to the roster for him so holding on and making the practice squad is the realistic best case scenario. The good news is Hill has experience playing at multiple spots on the offensive line. Most backups need to be capable of filling in at multiple positions. The bad news is that at age 24, Hill is already a bit of an overaged prospect and may have less runway to develop than your normal UDFA.
