The Denver Broncos have been one of the biggest stories of the NFL season so far because of their ability to come back and win close games.
The Broncos — who visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday —- are 10-2 and have won nine straight games. But it hasn’t come easy and they aren’t exactly blowing out their opponents.
Sean Payton’s team has trailed in all 12 of their games this and they have six win s of three points or fewer. Even their two defeats have been close as they both came as time expired.
The Raiders also engaged in a close game against the Broncos, in a 1-7 loss on Thursday Night Football on November 6. It was just one of the Raiders’ three one-score losses in their 10 defeats this season.
Perhaps this is the week the Broncos’ luck run out against a Raiders’ team that has lost six straight games. It’s been one of those NFL seasons, so you never know.
