Shedeur Sanders did not complete the joint practice between the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, leaving the session with an injury after getting hurt early.
Still, the rookie was seen sharing a moment with Jalen Hurts after the day’s affairs, with Big Dom standing nearby.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Sanders and Hurts were the last players to leave the field.
“Jalen Hurts and Shedeur Sanders having an extended chat as two of the last players still on the field here at #Eagles-#Browns joint practice. With Big Dom standing guard, naturally,” he wrote as the caption to a photo showing the two quarterbacks sharing a conversation, with Dominic DiSandro standing within earshot.

It appears that Shedeur and Jalen are becoming fast friends. The Eagles signal-caller transported the rookie off the field after he got hurt, giving him a ride on a cart.
He also spoke to reporters about their conversation, revealing the former Colorado star approached him and “just wanted to talk,” noting that they had a lengthy chat in which he shared his perspective on what he’s seen and how he’s gone about things in his own career.
“I’m supporting him from where I am and wishing him all the best with his opportunity,” Hurts said.
Hurts ended 2024 as Super Bowl MVP, having helped the Eagles complete an incredible season that culminated in a revenge win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite taking the team to two Super Bowls in three years and performing well in both, the media seems hesitant to rank him among the best quarterbacks in the league.
The two-time Pro Bowler has remained silent on the debates involving his name this offseason. However, it’s likely something he will use as motivation in 2025.
