Two NFL sideline officials gave it their all when ruling a completed catch for Cooper Kupp during the Seattle Seahawks-Los Angeles Rams ‘Thursday Night Football’ game.
Cooper Kupp got some sweet revenge on his old team last night. Trailing 30-14 in the fourth quarter, Seattle mounted a monumental comeback to force overtime. The fourth-quarter rally was completed with Zach Charbonnet’s insane two-point conversion on a play that you’ll never see again.
Puka Nacua scored a touchdown on the first possession of overtime. But the Seahawks answered with a Jaxson Smith-Njigba touchdown, and Eric Saubert caught the game-winning two-point conversion attempt to complete the thrilling comeback.
With the win, Seattle improves to 12-3 and holds sole possession of first place in the NFC. Two more wins will give them the conference’s top seed and only first-round bye.
Cooper Kupp’s jaw-dropping 21-yard catch along the sidelines helped set up Seattle’s game-winning drive. The play was so nice that even the two sideline officials were fired up to signal a catch for the former Rams star:

Kupp finished the day with three catches for 39 yards, per ESPN. The Super Bowl 56 MVP signed a three-year deal with his hometown team worth $45 million following his release from the Rams.
Sean McVay’s Rams have had Seattle’s number ever since he became their head coach in 2017. But the Seahawks finally solved their longtime Kryptonite on Thursday night, with Sam Darnold outdueling MVP front-runner Matthew Stafford.
Sam Darnold received criticism all season long about coming up short in big games. But he did his part on Thursday night, bailing out his defense that had no answers for the Stafford-Puka Nacua connection.
Seattle now owns wins over the Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts. If you weren’t taking them seriously before, you’d better do so now.
