Tom Brady may be long retired from football, but Indianapolis Colts fans don’t appear ready to forgive their longtime rival and Kryptonite any time soon.
The Colts were one of Brady’s archrival teams during his tenure with the New England Patriots, especially during Peyton Manning’s tenure with the franchise. But the rivalry stayed hot following the arrival of Andrew Luck, with Brady leading the Pats to blowout wins over the Colts in the 2013 AFC Divisional Round and 2014 AFC Championship Game.
Tom Brady, fellow NFL legend Michael Strahan and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson took part in the introductions for the 2025 Indianapolis 500 race on Sunday. The race is the marquee event in the IndyCar Series.
Just like old times, the sports crowd in Indianapolis booed Brady after he was introduced on stage:

28-year-old Álex Palou of Spain emerged victorious at the 2025 Indianapolis 500. Sweden’s Marcus Ericsson took second, with USA’s David Malukas joining the podium with a third-place finish.
In the regular season against the Colts, Tom Brady went 12-3 with 33 touchdowns against 16 interceptions. The last time he lost to Indianapolis, however, was the infamous “4th and 2” game at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2009.
Brady never lost to the Colts again after that, defeating them in the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2021 regular seasons campaigns, along with the two playoff victories.
