It is fun to listen to Cam Ward talk about his process. Maybe the Tennessee Titans have had a quarterback before that gives the same type of thoughtful answers in a press conference, but I don’t remember that being the case. You can tell he is really diving into his game and what he needs to do to be better. We have heard so much about his work ethic. You can see it in his answers.

One of the things that really stood out was when he said he needs to get through his progressions more quickly. That seems to be one of the biggest adjustments for rookie quarterbacks because everything moves so much faster at the NFL level. It also has to be tough for Ward, specifically, because the offensive line has played so poorly, so everything has to be sped up.
Speaking of the poor offensive line play, when Ward was asked about that, he took the responsibility to help them be better. That’s exactly how you want your quarterback to provide leadership for the team.
