All of Giants’ draft picks are now under contract

Fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo signed his four-year rookie contract with the New York Giants on Wednesday, meaning all of the team’s rookies have now signed.

Skattebo’s four-year deal, slotted by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, is worth $5.273 million per Over The Cap and includes a $1.073 million signing bonus. Skattebo will count $1.108 million against the cap in 2025.

Skattebo, a powerhouse 5-foot-11, 215-pound back, is expected to share work with second-year back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Skattebo has not been seen practicing since early in OTAs. He did stretching with the team on Tuesday and Wednesday during mandatory minicamp, but did not participate in individual or team drills.

While he starred at Arizona State, Skattebo said during rookie minicamp that he had everything to prove in the NFL.

“How many snaps of the NFL have you seen me play? Zero, right? I’ve proved nothing. I’ve proved what I am in college, but I’ve proved nothing at this level,” he said. “So now where I’m at, I have to prove myself and if that’s for five years or if that’s for 10 years, I’m going to continue to prove myself. I’m the best, do it for the longest, so continue to do that and just work my butt off until time comes.”
