When Cam Skattebo was carted off of Lincoln Financial Field in October of 2025, the Philadelphia crowd gave him a standing ovation. Eagles fans know a baller when they see one, hence the show of respect for an NFC East division rival. He was only two weeks removed from a 19-carry game against the Birds in which he went for 98 yards and three touchdowns.
However, we know that more than one thing can be true, and it turns out that Skattebo is also an idiot.

The 24-year-old is 10 months removed from an open tibia fracture and right ankle dislocation. He should be on the Ben Simmons training regimen, which involves 25 reps of fishing followed by 25 reps of Call of Duty. Skattebo should only be going two things right now – jack and shit. He should be going to rehab and the Giants training facility and then coming straight home. They should lock this man inside of his house and only let him out to use the hyperbaric chamber or attend follow-up doctor’s appointments.
As we mentioned the other day, bettors are hammering the Giants over 7.5 wins at PA and NJ betting apps. This feels like folly, but the G-Men have sophomore-year Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter and a healthy Malik Nabers. They have Arvell Reese and Francis Mauigoa joining the fold. They brought in Isaiah Likely, Tremaine Edmunds, and Darnell Mooney as free agents and they’ve got Brian Burns out there. They’ve got Skattebo, assuming he doesn’t injure himself again.
It would be nice to see a competitive New York team out there again, but on the other hand, go Birds, dickhead.
