The Eagles starting center has been dealing with a back injury all week that has his status up in the air.
The Philadelphia Eagles are relatively healthy heading into the NFC Championship game on Sunday, but center Cam Jurgens has been sidelined with a back injury for most of the week. He was listed as questionable in the team’s final injury report, and Stacy Dales reported that Jurgens will be a game time decision.
Jurgens was limited at practice on Friday, which is more than he had done in the days leading up to it. Landon Dickerson got some practice reps at center throughout the week just in case.
Head coach Nick Sirianni is known for keeping injury news close to the vest in the name of competitive advantage. Jurgens may be considered a game time decision, but the Eagles didn’t elevate any offensive lineman from the practice squad, which indicates they probably expect him to be able to go.
We’ll find out soon enough, when the Eagles take the field against the Commanders at 3 PM ET.
