This is a podcast you don’t want to miss. I know we say this often, but this is possibly the best interview the Bears Banter Podcast has ever had.
We’re all excited about Ben Johnson signing with the Chicago Bears, so Rick Smith, Ben Johnson’s agent, joined the podcast to discuss how it happened.
Smith was incredibly transparent and gave several outstanding pieces of information.
Smith tells us when Johnson made his decision, he discusses if the Raiders rumors were legitimate, he discusses where the GM alignment and a franchise must be willing to admit their mistakes and want to correct them came from, he talks about the Bears’ process was fantastic, he discusses how key Kevin Warren was to make this happen, and he gives us an overview as to how these coaching hires are done.
