The NFL MVP award wasn’t the only honor Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen earned this year. On Saturday, the University of Wyoming Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame announced that Allen, who starred for the Cowboys from 2015-17, was headlining the school’s Class of 2025.
During his Wyoming career, Allen passed for 5,066 yards with 44 passing TDs, and added 767 rushing yards with 12 TDs to go with one receiving TD. He accounted for 5,833 yards of total offense while guiding the Cowboys to two consecutive eight-win seasons, a berth in the 2016 Mountain West Championship game and a pair of bowl games.
Former Bill John Wendling, a sixth-round pick of the Bills in the 2007 NFL Draft (No. 184), will join Allen in the Class of 2025. Wendling played three seasons with the Bills before spending four seasons with the Detroit Lions.
