Rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston has been sidelined with an LCL sprain he suffered on July 29 during the Buffalo Bills’ training camp. It was an injury that sent Hairston to Injured Reserve (IR), forcing him to miss Buffalo’s first six games of his rookie season.

But on Monday, the Bills opened Hairston’s 21-day return-to-practice window, and today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off with the news that Hairston says his knee “feels good” as he works his way back to making his debut for the Bills during the 2025 NFL season.

Maxwell Hairston says his knee “feels good”

Buffalo’s struggling defense sure could use the services of Maxwell Hairston, their first-round selection from the 2025 NFL Draft, and Hairston took a big step toward making his season debut when the Bills designated him to return from IR. Hairston says his injured knee “feels good” and he appears to be on target to make his much-anticipated regular-season debut during Buffalo’s Week 10 road game vs. the Miami Dolphins.
