All the broadcast details for Bills-Chiefs next weekend
The Buffalo Bills are back in the AFC Championship, once again heading to Arrowhead to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The pair of AFC juggernauts will meet for the second time this season, their second matchup for a shot at the Super Bowl.
The Bills and Chiefs are set to kick off next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST. The game will broadcast on CBS, with Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson on the call. Opening odds with FanDuel Sportsbook have Buffalo as 1.5-point road “underdogs” (+1.5).
Bills Mafia wears its underdog cape well, and it’s a realm that seems to motivate quarterback Josh Allen like little else. Entering the Divisional Round, the Bills were quickly re-cast as the only home underdog of the weekend. It was the first time any Bills team wasn’t favored at home in the playoffs. Allen, McDermott, and the team decided they had plans in Kansas City next weekend.
During the 2024 NFL regular season, Buffalo defeated Kansas City 30-21 in Week 11, fueled by a dominating performance from Josh Allen. The Bills have had Mahomes’ number in recent seasons during the regular season (4-1), though Buffalo has been unable to best the Chiefs in the postseason since McDermott became head coach of the Bills (going 0-3 against KC). This will be the second AFC Championship matchup between the two teams since Allen and Mahomes entered the NFL.
