Buffalo Bills Week One inactives vs. the Baltimore Ravens

The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens are ninety minutes from kickoff, which means that each team’s inactive list has been finalized. The Bills hadn’t ruled anyone out who remains on the 53-man roster as of Friday, but kicker Tyler Bass and defensive tackle DeWayne Carter were both placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. Baltimore had ruled out two players, but otherwise had a clean bill of health entering the opener.

Who’s up and who’s down for the first game of the season? Here is the first inactive list of 2025.

WR Curtis Samuel

The wideout with the highest cap hit on the team is a healthy scratch. Both Tyrell Shavers and Elijah Moore are active, joining the top trio of Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, and Keon Coleman as the five receivers active tonight.

C/G Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

The 2024 fifth-round draft choice is out this week, as he only returned to practice on Wednesday after missing nearly all of training camp with a calf injury. Veteran Kendrick Green was elevated from the practice squad, and he’ll be active for the game.

OT Chase Lundt

The rookie is a healthy scratch this week, as the Bills will go with eight offensive linemen among their active players. Alec Anderson, Ryan Van Demark, and Kendrick Green are the reserves.

EDGE Landon Jackson

The rookie third-round draft choice is the odd man out tonight, as the Bills will go with four defensive ends. Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, Joey Bosa, and Javon Solomon constitute that foursome.

CB Tre’Davious White

This one was expected, as he was listed as doubtful thanks to a groin injury. White’s return to Buffalo will be delayed by at least a week, and he won’t have the chance to suit up against one of the two teams he played for last season. We’ll see whether it’s Ja’Marcus Ingram or Dorian Strong starting across from Christian Benford.

DB Jordan Hancock

The rookie safety is a healthy scratch this week, as the Bills will go with Cam Lewis as the Swiss Army Knife special teams reserve. Damar Hamlin is the other backup safety.

Here are the inactive players for the Ravens. They had already listed fullback Patrick Ricard and tight end Isaiah Likey as out on Friday.
