Buffalo Rumblings
The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs are nearly 90 minutes away from kickoff, so each team has finalized its list of inactive players for this Sunday’s clash. Buffalo had already declared three players out for this one, and the Chiefs were down two, but we now know the full extent of each team’s inactive list.
Buffalo is without a few players who have been moved to injured reserve, as well. The most recent addition to that list is defensive tackle Ed Oliver, who tore his bicep last week against the Carolina Panthers. He won’t appear on today’s inactive list given that he is already off the 53-man roster and on the injured reserve list.
Who’s in and who’s out for today’s pivotal AFC matchup? Here’s the full inactive list for each team.

WR Joshua Palmer
Buffalo’s free agent addition is once again sidelined thanks to a knee and ankle injury he suffered against the Atlanta Falcons. Buffalo has five wideouts active today—Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, Elijah Moore, and Tyrell Shavers.
OT Chase Lundt
The rookie is a healthy scratch once again this week, as Buffalo’s offensive line is fully healthy.
EDGE Landon Jackson
The rookie third-round draft choice is once again a healthy inactive, as Michael Hoecht’s return has relegated Jackson back to inactive status. Joey Bosa, Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, and Javon Solomon are the other defensive ends active today.
DT DaQuan Jones
The veteran is still recovering from the calf injury he suffered in warmups against the Falcons, so he’s out once again. With all the other injuries at defensive tackle, the Bills have reshuffled the position, signing Jordan Phillips to the 53-man roster and using a practice squad call-up on Phidarian Mathis this week. Deone Walker and Larry Ogunjobi are the other healthy defensive tackles.
LB Shaq Thompson
The good news is that both Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard have no injury designation this week, so they should be ready to roll. The bad news is that Thompson is out. Joe Andreessen and Dorian Williams round out the linebacker group.
CB Taron Johnson
This one hurts, as Johnson appeared on the injury report Friday with a groin issue. We’ll likely see Cam Lewis in the slot, with Dane Jackson, called up from the practice squad, replacing Lewis on kick coverage teams.
CB/Ret Brandon Codrington
Once again, the Bills’ return specialist is a healthy scratch. That means we’ll see Curtis Samuel as the primary kickoff return man, with Ty Johnson or Ray Davis back with him, and Khalil Shakir will field punts.
Here are the Chiefs’ inactive players:
