Buffalo Rumblings
The Buffalo Bills head into their Week 11 game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in search of answers. At 6-3, the Bills still have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks as they make a push toward the postseason, but there’s zero room for error right now. Yet the eye test doesn’t reveal a palpable sense of urgency, and instead presents an offense too often devoid of rhythm and momentum for large chunks of games.
We’ve spent weeks discussing the team’s observed issues on offense and defense, which, at some point, becomes burdensome if changes can’t or won’t be made in-season. The question then becomes if Buffalo has enough elsewhere to reach their goal this season.
This season, everyone eats because no one’s cutting it on their own in the wide receivers room. That includes wide receiver Keon Coleman, who was reportedly benched for disciplinary reasons following yet another meeting slip-up. Reports state that Coleman missed Friday’s meeting, at which point head coach Sean McDermott and the team made the decision to bench him.
Will a now-healthy Gabe Davis absorb a fair share of Coleman’s looks, and what might this mean for the team’s quick turnaround in Week 12 to play its second Thursday Night Football game of the season?
To keep up with all of Buffalo Rumblings’ coverage of Bills-Buccaneers, we’ve put together this post to serve as your guidebook during the game, and in the hours and days following Buffalo’s Week 11 home showdown.
