The Buffalo Bills are annual picks to play in the Super Bowl, but they haven’t reached the promised land since drafting Josh Allen with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Yet, after reaching the AFC Conference Championship, the Bills have to feel like they’re only a piece or two away from accomplishing their goals.
However, as we’ve seen time and time again, more help may still be needed in Buffalo.
Recently, Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay proposed a trade that could finally help put the Bills over the top. Specifically, Kay believes the Bills should trade their second-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in exchange for Cincinnati Bengals pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson.
Similar to when the Bills signed future Hall of Famer Von Miller, adding Hendrickson would provide a lot more juice to Buffalo’s pass-rush in anticipation of their big year ahead. Plus, it would take the best defender away from a top AFC competitor, effectively knocking out two birds with one big stone.
Hendrickson is coming off a first-team All-Pro appearance after leading the NFL with 17.5 sacks. If they’re not already there, the Bills would catapult to the forefront of Super Bowl contenders in the AFC with this trade.
